Sopra Group provided its unique onshore/offshore development and support service to assist the IT department in a leading Life Assurance Company to enhance a number of core systems.  By employing our flexible onshore/offshore model we have enabled the Client to meet a number of legislative changes in the industry and have delivered significant cost savings.

To manage this process a clearly defined 'roadmap' of processes, roles and responsibilities, and deliverables were established during the start-up phase of the programme.

This ensured that the key risks traditionally associated with offshore delivery were mitigated and that the solutions produced were both fit for use and fit for purpose.
